Objective: To curate a custom lighting ambiance for Cocktails & Steaks that reflects the establishment’s modern yet cozy dining concept, with meticulous attention to both functional and aesthetic lighting needs.

- Venue: Cocktails & Steaks offers a refined dining experience, distinguished by its fusion of contemporary design and inviting atmosphere.
- Vision: The intention was to create a layered lighting design that complements the interior design elements, enhances the patrons' experience, and fulfils various lighting requirements, from ambient to task lighting.
Key Deliverables:
- Ambient Lighting:
- Filament Bulb Arrangement: The installation of a crisscross brass tubing feature from which a series of 2200K LED filament bulbs are suspended, casting a very warm, inviting glow akin to candlelight across the space.
- Warm Color Temperatures: The combination of filament bulbs with the brass fixtures enhances the warm, intimate ambiance, ideal for evening dining and social gatherings.
- Task Lighting:
- Downlights: Strategically placed 2700K CRI90+ downlights provide functional illumination over tables and bar areas, ensuring that these spaces are well-lit for dining and interaction without compromising the warm aesthetic.
- Accent Lighting:
- Wall Fixtures: The use of wall-mounted lighting fixtures to accentuate architectural features like the exposed brickwork, contributing to the bar’s rustic yet polished charm.
- Decorative and Functional Integration:
- Brass Tubing Feature: The brass tubing not only serves as a support for lighting but also acts as a statement piece of decor, reinforcing the venue’s industrial-chic vibe.
